Upon your arrival in the Capital International Airport of Beijing, your comfortable and convenient travel in China kicks off. Our drivers and guides will help you and transfer you to your hotel in downtown Beijing. Getting to the lobby of the hotel, guide will help you with carrying luggage and check-in. Today, we begin our tour in Beijing and the tourist attractions we will visit include Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Treasure Houses and Hutong Experience of Xicheng District

Tiananmen Square - Tiananmen Square situated in front of the Forbidden City boasts the largest city square in the world and the heart of China. Also translated as Square of Heavenly Peace, It is the important site to witness lots of the historic events or accidents happened in China, especially in modern China. Surrounded with many national building complexes such as China National Museum, Great Hall of the People and Monument to the People's Heroes and Chairman Mao’s Memorial Hall, It is the center to view a socialistic China’s history.

Forbidden City – This is the largest and most famous ancient imperial palace complex across the world. Today, it serves as the Palace Museum of China. Located in the heart of Beijing, it used to be the symbol of Empire of China with a construction duration of 14 years from 1406 to 1420. Used to be the administration center and the residence of 24 emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties, it is the epitome displaying the highlights of Chinese ancient glory in the aspects of architecture, philosophy, art and sociology etc..

Treasure Houses – this is a highlight of Forbidden City trip. Visiting Forbidden City, to most tourists, firstly to enjoy its splendid architectural art, secondly appreciate the valued treasures collected in museum. Badaling Great Wall - Great Wall boasting the 9th humankind’s miracle in the world and a site of World Cultural Heritage, used to be the military defense project to protect our homeland in ancient eras. Today, we will visit the last tourist attraction of Beijing – Summer Palace. After that, we take a transfer from your hotel in downtown Beijing to Capital International Airport, and then take Flight CA1223 to Xian Xianyang International Airport, and then transfer to your hotel in downtown Xian.

Summer Palace of Beijing is a world cultural heritage site and used to be exclusive imperial garden of Qing Dynasty. It is also the largest royal classical garden in the world, which absolutely shows the essence of traditional garden art in China. Today, our travel in Xian starts from a visit to The Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and then head to Xian Stele Forest Museum. Both of them are the top tourist resources in Xian.

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses is the landmark of ancient glorious history of China, especially as the establishment of Qin Empire. It is also the representative of tourist attractions in West China. It is a part of Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Mausoleum and written into the list of world cultural heritage sites in 1987. This is the largest underground terracotta figure cluster in the world. Moreover, it is also worldwide famous as the 8th world miracle in west since Jacques René Chirac, the former president of France, visited here in 1978.

Xian Stele Forest Museum is a famous museum of art and history. The steles and calligraphic inscriptions collected here are valued incomparably. It was built in 1087 and preserves the oldest stele of China and the largest number of stele inscriptions of China. Originally for preserving the Stele Inscriptions of Thirteen Classics of Confucianism (十三经) and Shitai Classic of Filial Piety (石台孝经) created in Tang Dynasty (618-907), it was formally called Stele Forest in Qing Dynasty as its scope and size were enlarged gradually. The real calligraphic inscriptions of Wang Xizhi, Wang Wei and Wu Daozi were well preserved here. It is comprised of Confucius Temple, Stele Forest, Stone Carving Gallery and Calligraphy Inscription. In 1962 it was approved to be the historic site under the national protection. In 1992, it was officially named Xian Stele Forest Museum.

Today, we will visit Shaanxi Provincial History Museum and Muslim Street, and then take a transfer from your hotel in downtown Xian to Xian Xianyang International Airport. Afterwards, we take flight MU291 to Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Your guide and driver of Shanghai will transfer you to your hotel in downtown Shanghai.

Shaanxi Provincial History Museum – This is your first site to visit. This is a nationwide famous museum for history and culture in China as famous as Beijing Imperial Palace Museum, Shanghai Museum and Nanjing Museum. A large number of precious and valuable collections are reserved and displayed in museum. There are mostly are the national treasure. The whole visit will take approximately 1.5 hours. It is the best way to learn the past of Xian.

Muslim Street - Apart from being the ancient zone of downtown Xian, this is the culinary center of Xian, and a variety of cuisines are available here. If you prefer tasting food, it will be a best option to you around China.

Day 7 – Travel in Shanghai (B/L/-)

Today, we will visit Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, Shanghai World Financial Center and The Bund, three landmarks of Shanghai.

Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall - It opposite to Shanghai Museum is a special exhibition building to show the urban planning of Shanghai and the achievements of city construction. It is located on No. 100, Renmin Avenue, and also a landmark of Shanghai on the Renmin Square. Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center has been an important display window of Shanghai city development. The whole center themed with City, Human, Environment and Development exhibits the great achievements of Shanghai in the aspect of city establishment. It has been a national Four-A tourist destination and an important tourist attraction of Shanghai.

Shanghai World Financial Center - Also translated to be Shanghai Global Financial Hub, located in Lujiazui Zone, Pudong New Area, is a world-class skyscraper in China. It was built completely on August 29, 2008, currently the second tallest building in China and the third tallest building in the world, and also the world’s tallest building with the flat roof. It is the best place to view the panoramic cityscapes of Shanghai.

The Bund - Crowned to be the Old Shanghai Exotic building Clusters, it is the most famous tourist attraction of Shanghai, and someone considers it as the landmark of Shanghai and the witness of Shanghai history. It is an epitome of Shanghai in the past 150 years, and the show of the capitalism of old Shanghai. The Bund located at the connecting point of Huangpu River and Suzhou River is opposite to Pudong Lujiazui Financial District. It approximately is 1,800 meters from North Section of Suzhou Road to Jinling East Road, and the whole landform is like the shape of crescent. Visiting to Shanghai, the bund and its exotic building clusters are the must-see destinations.
